Dr Mamta Prabhu completed her MBBS and MD (respiratory mMedicine) from the Bombay University in India in 1999 and 2003 respectively. She started working for the NHS in 2004 as a clinical fellow in respiratory medicine at Barnsley hospital and also attained her MRCP during this period. She has completed her GP training from the Wakefield scheme and achieved her MRCGP in 2012. Her main interests are management of chronic medical conditions, dermatology and diabetes. She has a diploma in dermatology (Cardiff) and holds a postgraduate degree in medical training. She also has responsibilities in training and teaching future doctors who wish to be trained to become GPs.
Her working days are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
